About Us
Third generation Norman resident and Owner, Cat Cook, has been called an “animal person” her whole life. She started her journey with reptiles as a child and her passion blossomed into a career surrounded by exotic pets. After working in several different pet stores, breeding, and rescuing exotic pets, Cat realized there was a need for an exotic pet shop that truly knew their stuff and put their animals' needs first.
Our storefront opened in April of 2023 (and expanded in March 2024) in Cat’s hometown of Norman, OK. We buy, breed, and responsibly-raise pets, providing them with top-notch care. We truly love every animal we sell and have first-hand experience keeping a wide variety of exotic pets from Monitor Lizards to Sugar Gliders. Our dedicated team of animal professionals ensures that each critter receives the utmost care and attention, making sure they're ready to transition seamlessly into your loving home.

Cat
Cat has quite the collection of exotic pets and she loves them all, but she especially loves her Coatimundi, “Kramer”. He loves to complete puzzles, swing from hammocks, and give Cat kisses!
Cat says, “We want our critters to thrive! Keeping our pets thriving means enrichment, proper advice, research, and a supply store nearby that you can rely on. That’s why we are here. To help them (and you) thrive.”

Justen
Justen grew up with all sorts of pets, but now he has a special love for his 7ft Carpet Python, Shaggy (who stays at our shop most days)!
He also loves his African Grey Parrot, “Harley”, who often mimics Justen’s voice.

Lyric
Lyric is extremely knowledgeable about lots of animals, but especially loves her leopard geckos! She owns a variety of reptiles and amphibians and is always adding to her “collection”.

Abby
Abby has several exotic pets such as a Cuban False Chameleon, Uromastyx, & Hissing Cockroaches (all from our store)!
She loves giving the tortoises and guineas at our shop their daily greens.

Jennifer
Jennifer loves to be surrounded by pets! At home she has a bearded dragon, tarantula, hedgehog, and Green-Cheeked Conure “Cosmo”.
Her favorite thing to do is work on socalizing and training our birds.

Ayla
Ayla is especially interested in animal health. She plans on attending Vet school as soon as she can! Her tortoise, Shelly, sparked her passion for reptiles.

Wren
Wren is a bird expert, and absolutely adores her budgies, cockatiels, and gold-cap conure. Socializing and training our birds is one of her favorite activities, although she is happy to help our customers find the perfect reptile or mammal too!

Katie
Katie’s first exotic pet was a Crested Gecko and the experience made her fall in love with animals of all kinds.
She spends part of her time each day socializing our critters to ensure happy and well-adjusted pets (her favorite part)!
