As a USDA certified avian breeder and dealer, we partner with trusted breeders who prioritize the health and well-being of their birds. From day one, our birds are nurtured with proper nutrition, medical care, and lots of love. Our official Vet, Stoneridge Animal Hospital, provides our critters with top-notch care including visits to our store for general health checks of all the animals. We provide a variety of fresh foods to our birds as well as commercial staple diets. Our baby birds are weaned onto a hand-blended mix we make in-store along with cooked vegetables and some fruit. Our care sheets, specific to each type of bird, are available for free in our store. We don’t cut corners when it comes to the well-being of our birds, and we’re proud to offer healthy, happy birds ready to become part of your family.

Hand-Fed Birds

Hand-feeding means our birds are not raised by other birds, they’re raised by our team. This helps them become social, friendly, and well-adjusted, making it easier for you to bond with them right from the start. Hand-feeding also provides us with insight into each of our babies’ personalities and lets us check on their health and growth multiple times a day. We weigh each of our baby birds daily and feed them high-quality foods. The Cat’s Critters team is devoted to raising wonderful companions, so our baby birds are raised in an environment where they receive daily interaction, playtime, and positive reinforcement.

We have the best prices in Norman and the surrounding areas for all birds. The big box stores are usually double the cost of our birds and often sick or unsocialized. Unfortunately, most pet stores do not care about their animals, only making money. We at Cat’s Critters believe you should be able to get an affordable bird and not compromise on quality. Although birds are a more expensive category of pet, we always have the best deals!
